Experiencing new things helps us learn and grow. For example, many of you had not been to a play at the Milwaukee Rep. We learned so much from this play and from the message. What would you like to experience with your child or what have you experienced lately with your child that has been new and has helped you to grow as a person?
Just spending more time with her helps me grow as a person. After work I'm usually pretty tired but lately I've been putting my feelings aside and just taking more time to sit with her as she eats or play with her while shes taking a bath with her toys. I'm learning patience and just learning other ways to do things with her when she doesnt want to do what I want her to do.
ReplyDeleteI would love to be there when my child experiences new things, such as going to the Zoo for the first time, the Museum, or any new experience. I think it would be a nice bonding experience and I think being there in those moments would make me a better Father.
ReplyDeleteI think that being there to experience a lot of the "firsts" will be really important to me as well as watching them grow and seeing how much they've learned and changed over such short spans of time. Its amazing how quickly they learn and how soon they become their own person.
ReplyDeletePersonally, I want to take my son to the zoo, the museum, and also other things like a pumpkin farm. Just places we can go and do simple but amusing stuff. At home do experiments, for example make slime or build something with him.
ReplyDeleteI would love to travel to a different state with Eli as a stepping stone and then eventually explore a different country. I feel that traveling is an amazing bonding experience and we'll have so much fun with one another.
ReplyDeleteRecently I took Pj to Arkansas that has definitely helped me grow as a person because I had to watch him and take care of everything myself, it also helped me practice patience because a long car ride with a baby isnt always easy.
